Fundraiser: The clubs 2500-to-1 fundraising draw with a prize fund of €10,000 will go ahead on Saturday 2December.

Most of the Lorrha team have already won both North and County U12 medals earlier in the season so will be happy with that. After funeral Mass in Our Lady Queen Of Ireland Church, Rathcabbin, burial took place in Lorrha Cemetary. A variety concert will take place in Lorrha & Dorrha GAA Clubhouse, Moatfield, on Sunday, 29th October, commencing at 2.45pm. This concert is in aid of the Ray of Sunshine/Building of Hope and the Lorrha Community Response Group. This course will provide skills in construction to include: Concreting, Laying Kerbs Flags & Pavers , Woodcraft, Safe Workplace Practices, Work Experience, Horticulture Tools &Equipment, Plant Identification, Care & Maintenance and Communications.

The step up to the U13 level proved too much for them. Through a series of practical projects on site and a work placement with an employer, learners will develop the necessary skills to assist them in gaining employment in this industry.
